Everything About Quick & Easy Haircut

Professional barbers do good haircuts because they have talent and have years of practice. For an average amateur to compensate for the lack of experience, then it becomes critical to have proper tools to guard against mistakes and to speed up your learning. In this video we introduce 13 special tools, some of which are commercially available but you may not have heard of, and some of which are created by us and do not cost you anything. Regardless of the cost, it pays to spend the money or time effort to have those tools because you will recoup the investment by saving thousands of dollars on haircuts over your lifetime.

In our previous video https://youtu.be/H2TUoGtAVkM we discussed short hair. If you keep longer hair on the top section, this video https://youtu.be/Yami2wd1Tg8 includes 8 different haircut experiments to show you what it would look like when you cut to different hair lengths. You may have already heard advice from professionals, but these videos show you that as a beginner, for some of the practices, you may have to do the opposite in order to lower the “bad haircut” risk. They are a must-see before you cut your own hair.

A lot of people are afraid of doing a self-haircut because they fear irreversible mistakes. But even if you do have a family member to help instead of doing a self-haircut, the techniques discussed in this video certainly will help your helpers have more confidence, save their time, and improve the quality of what they do, so this video is not just limited to self-haircutting.

For lockdown and stay-at-home orders, we also made a few other videos:
When you go out shopping or bring in things you have purchased after your trip, have you investigated every step so that you have the lowest probability of picking up invisible germs? In this https://youtu.be/3xNTNRehrE4 video, we share with you things we do to minimize the risks. Depending on your own situation, you should examine your process to see if you have additional possibilities of cross contamination, and you can modify based on the principles we discuss in this video.

We have quite a few other videos about face masks and shields (PPE). For masks, we use higher pressure to test filters in https://youtu.be/8mCPB8n065Y. If your material led to a different conclusion, i.e. filter 1 is better than filter 2 under one pressure but the opposite is true under another pressure, please let us know because we have yet to find such a case. Is your face mask effective? How do you test the quality of your mask, especially your own DIY masks? In this video, https://youtu.be/25lDoBSsQG8 I have given you multiple strategies, you may choose to use some of them depending on what you have, and varying materials, different particles and different tools. This video can also be used to check filtering effectiveness for things other than masks such as DIY vacuum bags, DIY air purifier filters etc.

After our video “DIY face masks in 10 seconds & improve cheaper masks” https://youtu.be/Wg-cwD4Edac went viral, our viewers asked us many questions about reducing the gaps. This video shows you how to reduce the side gaps with no cost, and with filters being used efficiently: https://youtu.be/79cleCN1oiY Please subscribe to our channel, we will be making more similar videos.

Besides the issues of face mask shortage, we also have experienced a shortage of toilet paper. What do you do if toilet paper is sold out and using other kinds of paper will clog the pipes? Americans use an average of 23.6 toilet paper rolls per person a year. Here is my DIY solution to resolve that problem:
https://youtu.be/ZWQ3UG6hGzo
The best part — it won’t cost anything.

What do you do if face shields are in short supply? Face shields are especially critical for medical staff, but a lot of suppliers are out of stock. This video will show you how to make your own, with two different designs you can choose from:

Have you ever tested how effective your handwashing is? You still get a cold every year even though you swear that you washed your hands very well, right? This video will provide a way for you to test your handwashing skills or you can use this as a way to convince your kids to wash hands well. Also this test method can help us to try different methods.

All Different Mask Testing Methods at Home

https://youtu.be/8mCPB8n065Y

When you test filter materials at home, you may have different particles available to you to use or different equipment to detect the particles. Therefore one method may not suit all your needs. In this video I am going to show you 3 levels of particle filtering tests I have invented for your face masks or filters. These presentations are improved and updated a bit from the previous videos in which they were shown.

Many viewers commented on our previous video questioning the validity of higher pressure tests. We answered the questions and believe our test is a reasonable extrapolation. If your material led to a different conclusion, i.e. filter 1 is better than filter 2 under one pressure but the opposite is true under another pressure, please leave comments below because we have yet to find such a case.

In this video, we mention our previous video of “Easiest & Cheapest Way To Fix an Overheated Laptop In 30 seconds.” If your compressor gun is different than the one in the gas station and you are unable to connect to the bottle, I offered a simple solution in that video, here is the URL Clean laptop in 30 seconds

Have you ever questioned the validity of those odd face mask tests you come across? Some of the tests can be backed by science, but others are just promoted for the dramatic effect to attract eyeballs. Many times we buy a lot of tools when we start an DIY project. Some of the tools can be used elsewhere, but some of the tools are so specialized they will never be used again in other projects. If you are able to share tools among different projects, of course it will be more economical in the long term and you will have a less crowded tool shed. For those tools only limited to the laminate flooring installation, we have tested them and listed their prices. We also discuss whether you may use alternative tools or make the tools yourself.

Anyway, whether you already have a lot of tools from other projects, or have only limited tools this video would should suit your needs. We first discuss tools specialized for laminate flooring installation. And then we will list type of tools that are needed, i.e. the function of the tools that are needed so that you may match your existing tools inventory with the goal of the installation. If you don’t have many tools and you are not installing large areas, we will show you how to make some of the specialized tools. Note that a few tools at the beginning of the list are essential for this type of installation, while other tools later in the list may or may not be used depending on your requirement/configuration. This list focuses on the installation function; safety related items such as goggles, face mask and knee pads are not listed.

4 Step Minimal Waste Time Saving Laminate/Engineered Wood Installation

How can you have almost zero waste when you install laminate or engineered wood flooring? The laminate flooring salespeople recommend allowing for at least 5% waste. Still, when I installed the flooring from left to right, often I found the right plank was too short and I had to undo the whole row and start all over again. Thus even figuring I will waste 5% of materials (thus money), I can not guarantee I will not also waste time.

In this video, I will show you a very easy simple 4-step process that will not only allow you to save the material (the money) but also the time. In fact, the layout of the whole room can be predicted before the actual installation.
